Born in Turkey in 1941, Fethullah Gülen was a scholar, teacher, and spiritual guide whose vision transcended borders and faith traditions. He championed the harmony of faith, knowledge, and service, believing that education is the key to human dignity and peaceful coexistence.
Through his philosophy of “hizmet” (service to humanity), Gülen encouraged millions to devote themselves to the common good, promoting empathy, compassion, and active citizenship as universal values.
