Throughout his papacy, Pope Francis championed the cause of dialogue, reaching out to communities of all faiths with a message of peace and mutual respect. His historic encounters with Muslim leaders, including the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity underscored his commitment to building bridges between diverse religious traditions.
As participants of the Hizmet movement, inspired by the teachings of Fethullah Gülen, we found in Pope Francis a kindred spirit. His unwavering commitment to dialogue and service resonated deeply with our mission to promote peace and understanding across religious and cultural divides.
In this time of mourning, we extend our deepest condolences to the Catholic community and all who were touched by Pope Francis’s profound legacy. May his vision of a world united in love, respect, and mutual understanding continue to guide and inspire us all.
